The waiting room

Between four hostel walls in Hungary, five Iranian refugees — including 17-year-old Faydim — waited for a smuggler who could arrive at any moment. Over ten days of tense readiness and bizarre twists, they shared a space, but barely a future. Twenty years later, Faydim returns to that room with the men she never saw again after crossing the border, to discover how that brief pause between two worlds sent their lives in completely different directions.
